Junior Competition

The Junior Competition is highly regarded as one of the best hockey competitions in New Zealand for primary and intermediate school-aged children.  It offers the opportunity for participants to play matches suited to their physical development and ability level, including 6-a-side, 8-a-side and 11-a-side options.  The competition is delivered in the winter months of May to September.  

2013 Junior Competition

2013 Playing dates
The Junior 11 A-side competition commences on Saturday, 4th May.
All other Junior Grades commence on Saturday, 11th May.
Competitions conclude on Saturday, 31st August. (7th September is the reserve day).

Please note other important dates for 11-a-side:
Queens Birthday weekend, (1st June) 11-a-side Grade will play.
Saturday, 20 July, no matches for 11-a-side, 8-a-side or 6-a-side grades.
