Coaches Professional Indemnity Insurance
Badminton Victoria has negotiated 'Coaches Professional Indemnity Insurance' for Coaches who run private squads or academies.
The Professional Indemnity insurance covers:
- Registered & qualified Coaches engaged in coaching private groups
- Registered & qualified Coaches engaged in activities such as strength and conditioning, aerobic conditioning and other recognised badminton related training and competition activities
- Coaches providing equipment owned by the coach to be used by participants
- Coaching at a private residence
It does not cover:
- Staff engaged by the Coach insured under this policy
- Coaches who buy/ sell/ hire coaching equipment and/or machinery
The Policy consists of 2 sections; (1) $10 Million Public Liability, (2) $5 Million Personal Accident. The Policy costs $200 for Coaches who are interested.
