A squad of 15 has been named for the final training camp for the Australian Under 17 men’s basketball team ahead of June’s FIBA Under 17 Men’s World Championship in Lithuania.
A squad of 15 has been named for the final training camp for the Australian Under 17 men’s basketball team ahead of June’s FIBA Under 17 Men’s World Championship in Lithuania.
The squad will come together at the AIS in Canberra over the Queen’s Birthday long-weekend from 9-11 June, before the final roster of 12 will be selected ahead of four-nation series in Spain.
The Australians will come up against Spain, USA and Latvia before heading to Lithuania for the tournament running from 29 June to 8 July in the city of Kaunas.
A majority of the squad returned to Australian shores this week after a tour of China, which saw the team record some impressive wins over the hosts and European nations.
