
A string of injuries hampered Martin’s first season of international hockey. Made his belated international debut at the 2002 Rabobank Trophy against India in Amsterdam. A fearless goalkeeper who earned selection in the National Squad after excelling in the AHL. Was outstanding at the Junior World Cup in Hobart with his lightning reflexes and quick hands regularly frustrating opposition forwards.
