State Development Program
HV's State Development Program will be revamped for 2012. The new program will see an increased number of contact hours (from four to twenty four) and an increased number of players identified to participate with the introduction of specific U12 & U14 groups. Delivery of the program will take place in February/March 2013.

Country Development Program
The Country Development Program (launched 2011) will see the most promising U13 and U15 Country Zone Players offered the opportunity to undertake specialised skill development training using a 3 v 3 game sense model as well as off field and sports science professional development. The program is delivered across two days, one in November (following a State Development Program session) and one in March (in line with the Zone Development Days).

Goal Keeper Development Program
Hockey Victoria’s Goal Keeper Development Program sees the States best junior goal keepers involved in four weeks of specialist technical instruction during October. The program, developed by VIS women’s goal keeper coach Michelle Flouch, incorporates instruction and practice of several fundamental goal keeping skills. Delivered by current Victorian and State League goal keepers, participants are learning off the best in the business.
